Venison Steak

2 lb venison steak

1/2 cup vinegar

1 cup water

1/4 cup presifted flour

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic salt

1/4 cup shortening

Pound steak until tender. Put in a bowl; cover with vinegar and water.

Soak for 1 hour to draw out blood. Drain; dry. On a piece of waxed

paper mix flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt; use to coat steak.

Heat shortening in large skillet; cook steak over medium heat until browned

on both side and tender.
