Swedish Pork Balls in Brown Sauce
1 1/2 lb ground pork
1 lb ground beef
2 cups fresh bread crumbs
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 in square baking pan. In a mixing bowl,
combine pork, beef, crumbs, eggs and milk; mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls;
arrange in pan. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium
heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and sauce is smooth.
Pour over meat balls. Bake in the oven for 1 hour, basting frequently with sauce.
