Stuffed Pork Chops
4 double pork chops with pockets
(I ask the nice man at the meat counter to
get these ready for me)
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 tbsp butter
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped apple
Dash pepper
Dash nutmeg and cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
1 (10 1/2 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
Trim chops well. Cook onion in butter until tender. Remove
from heat; mix all ingredients together and stuff chops. Cover and
bake in moderate oven in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and
bake until chops are tender.
