Mooseburger Chop Suey

3 large stalks celery

1 green pepper

1 medium onion

3 tbsp vegetable oil

1 lb mooseburger

1 beef bouillon

1/3 cup boiling water

2 1/2 tbsp cornstarch

1 3/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp brown sugar

1/8 tsp pepper

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp cold water

1 can bean sprouts

Cut celery, pepper and onion in thin slices. Put oil in a heavy skillet and

cook onion and meat over a very high heat, stirring constantly so meat does

not brown, but cooks thoroughly. Add celery, pepper and bouillon that has

been dissolved in boiling water. Cover tightly and cook 5 minutes longer.

While meat cooks, mix cornstarch, salt, sugar, pepper, soy sauce and

cold water to a smooth paste. Add to meat and stir thoroughly. Drain bean

sprouts well and mix into meat mixture. Heat through and serve with

steamed rice and more soy sauce.
