Hot Cheesy Chicken Dip

 

1/4 lb deli smoked chicken salad

2 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)

1/4 cup finely chopped celery

2 tbsp mayonnaise

1 small green onion, sliced

Assorted fresh vegetable dippers, such as

carrot sticks, celery stick and bell pepper slices

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat large oven proof dish or small pie plate with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

In a bowl, stir together chicken salad, cheese, chopped celery, mayonnaise and green onion. Mix well.

Spoon mixture into prepared pan.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until hot and golden brown.

Serve immediately with fresh vegetable dippers.

This recipe can easily be doubled for a larger crowd.
