Boursin Cheese Balls

8 ounces butter, unsalted

16 ounces cream cheese 2

2 garlic cloves

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram

1/4 teaspoon dried dill

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon dried basil.

Let the cheese and the butter soften to room temperature.

Crush the garlic with the salt to form a paste. Stir in the herbs and spices.

Chill before using. If using salted butter, delete the 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Note: a usually is even more garlic, because I love the garlic flavor!

You can also shape the cheese mixture into balls and freeze them for later use.
