Black 'n Blue Cajun Burgers

 

 

1 lb ground beef (93% lean)

1 tsp Cajun seasonings

1/4 cup mayonnaise

3 tbsp crumbled blue cheese

1/4 tsp yellow mustard

Lettuce

4 thick slices tomato

4 slices onion

4 whole wheat hamburger buns, toasted

Coat skillet with nonstick cooking spray.

Shape beef into patties, about 4 ounces each. Sprinkle each side with cajun seasonings. Cook over medium high heat about 6 minutes per side or until instant read thermometer registers 160 degrees.

Meanwhile, in small bowl stir together mayonnaise, blue cheese and mustard. Serve burgers, topped with blue cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion, on toasted buns.
